Upon your arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Tbilisi. After check-in, you will have time to relax, recover from your flight, and prepare for the unforgettable adventure ahead.

After breakfast, you will travel to western Georgia to explore the cultural heritage of the Upper Imereti region. Your first stop will be the medieval Mgvimevi Monastery (13th century), beautifully set into a rocky hillside.
You will then visit the unique Katskhi Church (11th century) and the iconic Katskhi Pillar, a striking natural limestone monolith crowned with a small church, one of the most remarkable landmarks in Georgia.
The journey continues to the fascinating city of Chiatura, located in the canyon of the Kvirila River. Known for its rich manganese mining history, Chiatura is also famous for its historic cable cars, which still serve as a primary means of transportation, connecting different parts of the city across steep cliffs.

After breakfast, you will begin the day with a visit to the historic Bagrati Cathedral (XI century), an architectural landmark and symbol of unified Georgia.
You will then continue to the nearby Gelati Monastery (XII century), a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its outstanding medieval architecture, mosaics, and its historical role as a major educational and cultural center of Georgia.
Later, you will explore the impressive Prometheus Cave, one of Georgia’s most remarkable natural attractions, famous for its vast underground halls, stalactites, stalagmites, and illuminated pathways.

On this day, you will visit the remarkable Ushguli Community, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe. The journey itself offers spectacular alpine scenery, with dramatic mountain landscapes, ancient stone churches, and authentic traditional Svan villages along the way.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy an easy and scenic hike toward the impressive Shkhara Glacier, where you will see the glacier and the source of the Enguri River, surrounded by breathtaking high mountain scenery.

You will then visit the beautiful Jvari Monastery, located on a hilltop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Mtskheta and its surroundings.
Next, you will explore the iconic Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of the most important religious monuments in Georgia and a masterpiece of medieval architecture, also inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
